Weren't we just ringing in 2011?  Where has the time gone?  It's hard to believe that we are going into 2012.

Are you making any New Year's Resolutions?  Are there any left over from last year that weren't accomplished?

Well you have another chance to resolve to accomplish those things again now.

But wait, you know we really don't need to wait for New Years to become a better person, do more for other people, read our Bibles more, pray more, etc.  We have that option every morning, because God's mercies are new every morning.  Every day is a new opportunity to be better.

This year how about making this Resolution.  Resolve to be progressively better each day of 2012, beginning with January 1.  Become progressively more intimate with God, progressively learn more about His word.  If we do that, 2012 should be our greatest year ever.  What a thought, walking hand in hand with God through every moment in the entire year.
