Hey Y'all!
Welcome to my corner! I hope everyone is doing well.
We've been busy at the Halloran house preparing for school. That can only mean one thing. Walmart. I have a love/hate relationship with good ole Wallyworld. I love that you can find everything in one place. I hate that you can find everything that really isn't a necessity.
I know what you're thinking, "Why doesn't she just make a list?" Just get the things on the list-ONLY!
Good theory. It just doesn't turn out that way. Something happens to me upon entering. My eyes glaze over. My hand involuntarily stuffs the list into my pocket.
As I take the first couple of steps, I find myself thinking the same thing. Aw, you don't need that list! You can remember what you REALLY need!
Maybe I should just stand there and repeat out loud twenty times, "What you really need!" Or at home before I go, write it a hundred times on a piece of paper.
Or maybe I should remember to recite this truth. "Look carefully how you walk!" Live purposely and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as the wise.(Ephesians 5:15 Amplified)
I went to Walmart on my lunch hour this week. I bought a salad. I had to be careful to not get distracted. I only had an hour. Hey that's it! I can allow myself a time limit. Wait a minute. I don't have a watch.
Oh well, guess it's time for a Walmart run! Uh oh, where's my paper?
I'll have to make sure to remember to pick some up!
Love you guys! See ya at Wallyworld!
